It’s time to get “Me” back!

Before my new hard road began, I had planned to do my annual 21 Day Detox.  The timing isn’t great any more, but I know that my body needs it so I plunged forward anyway.  I am on Day 16 today.  It’s been difficult to say the least, but I am so excited for it to be done.  I already have more energy, despite not sleeping well.  The increased clarity despite my circumstances is a big plus too! Now, I am not so patiently waiting to be able to start exercising again… tick tock…tick tock! 

Have you ever noticed that when life throws you curve balls with a ton of changes, that you feel the need to change things up even more?  Maybe it’s the fact that so much is changing around you that you can’t control that you feel the need to change something that YOU can control?

Well as part of my changes that I can control, I dyed my hair back to brown.  I have missed it anyway and always loved my darker hair. I feel the need to get “Me” back.  Once my Detox is done, I am excited to begin my physical transformation. One of my long time goals has been to get more muscle and definition.  I have found that while on a hard road, a great outlet to staying sane is to use the negative energy of sadness and despair and turn it into something good – like an incredible workout! It’s actually a known fact that when you exercise, it increases your serotonin, which actually make you FEEL happier.
