Turkey Meatballs

I am always looking for great high protein foods that are good, but easy to make.  This is one of my favorites!   You can serve them as an appetizer or a main dish with a pile of veggies! I like to make them as part of my food prep for the week.  I will eat 2-3 of them for lunch.  I like to use a butter lettuce or romaine lettuce leave, add a dash of hummus and then add wrap it around a meatball. This is a super easy but truly delicious.  Enjoy!

Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients:

✅1 lb. of ground turkey

✅ 2 garlic cloves – minced

✅ 1 red bell pepper minced

✅1 cup of oats

✅2 green onions chopped

✅ 2 eggs beaten

✅ 2 Tablespoons of tomato sauce (no sugar added)

✅ Garlic Himalayan salt

**Variation: I like to add 2-3 mushrooms, minced.**

Directions:

Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees.Combine all ingredients & knead with your hands. I know ewwww but just do it 🙂 Roll into 1 inch balls Bake for about 20-30 minutes until done.
